Town & Country Engineering Ltd has been in development for 30 years.
Tony Carter, founder of T&C Engineering has had foundational experience in marine at Devonport Naval Base and Super Yacht builds at Alloy Yachts. He gained his trade certificate at the Naval Dock Yard and went on to Alloy Yachts working across all areas from fabrication through to hull plating, helm stations and engine room fit outs.
The marine background established Town & Country Engineering’s core professional values in regard to rigorous quality workmanship.
The attention to quality continued working in West Auckland Wineries, updating and modifying vineyard plant equipment at Babich Wines and Soljans Estate Winery.
Moving from Auckland to Northland Tony established a workshop base in Waipu and took up a lead role at South Pacific Industrial Ltd (SPIIND) . Some of the major projects he worked on and supervised at SPI’s included Fonterra, on shut down maintenance, spooling and welding stainless steel pipe to a qualified food grade standard. Marsden Cove Marina manufacturing stainless hardware and aluminium boat repairs. Chelsea Sugar Works insulating and modifying stainless tanks and ducting.

Tony is a hands-on problem solving engineer who is passionate about delivering work to the highest standard with integrity. He is experienced in working with stainless, aluminium, carbon, galvanised steel, copper and brass.
